There are now 18 Sir Roland Wilson Scholars who are studying a PhD at the Australian National University.
Scholars are employees of Australian Public Service Departments and Agencies and are researching topics of national significance.

Joan Uhr Prize awarded

In 2017 the Foundation Board established a new prize to be awarded to the scholar or alumni who has made the greatest contribution to public policy in the previous year, particularly through strengthening the links between the APS and the ANU.

The Scholarship is open to Australian Public Servants from participating agencies. Successful applicants complete their PhD with some of the best academics at the Australian National University.
